"My spouse and I had a rather unique experience here. Our international flight got delayed, but we made it to The White Hart with 3 hours of our reservation left. The front desk was very accommodating (albeit surprised when we showed go and still wanted our room). We were able to nap for 2 hours, shower, and enjoy a delightfully delicious breakfast, which they cooked for us outside of the normal breakfast hours. "We were made very welcome, our room was lovely and warm (important as it was very cold and frosty), lovely and clean. Bathroom with a bath, but no shower. Large, comfortable bed. Very cosy. Breakfast was great and kept us going on our 10 mile walk that day. We had a lovely evening meal in the pub, which was well cooked and presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful."
