The staff at Carles are so friendly and helpful, I really enjoyed talking to them. Breakfast was nice and they had plenty of options. There are many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and if you want to do an excursion they can help you. I highly recommend staying here

The hotel is on the edge of Recoletta and Retiro. The blocks immediately surrounding the hotel are nice and walkable. We walked to/from the hotel everyday and never once had a problem (even in the evenings - with a little bit of common sense about walking in the dark in any city). We had a corner room on a high floor with lovely views.
