"Wonderful Stay – Amazing Staff! Sepilok B&B is a lovely, peaceful place just minutes away from the Rainforest Discovery Centre, Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, and Sun Bear Conservation Centre. Our lodge was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by nature. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended! "

"we stayed here for one night,before visiting the orang utan the next morning. location is next to the orang utan plc and that's it.nothing else in the neighbourhood,unless u drive 30-45 mins to sandakan city. the only restaurant in the property close at 9pm so after you are basically trapped in the room. its not safe to even walk in the property at night,its dark and we are in the jungle. the property needsTLC maintenance,its run down. the pool close at 5pm but i will not use the pool,its...

"Abbiamo soggiornato qui due notti ad Agosto, che dire il posto é circondato dalla foresta, stupendo! Si è in mezzo alla natura! Le ragazze sono gentilissime e si preoccupano di dare tutte le informazioni. Il cibo è fantastico! C’è un servizio di navetta gratuito per il centro di conservazione degli oranghi e per l’escursione nella giungla se ricordo bene due volte al giorno. "Liked hotel and helpful staff. Nothing immediately local but frequent local buses which run til 8.30/9pm back take you to Sandakan centre (RMS .70) where you can get good selection of foods and drinks. Lots of shopping malls. Sepilok(Orangutans and Honeybears) Labuk(Proboscis monkeys) Australian war memorial and Heritage trail were good. "I booked for my father. He said that the room soooooo narrow and smells bad. He doesn’t have a pleasant stay for the night and he don’t want to stay anymore at this hotel. He also mentioned, he told the reception that he will leaving early, and the receptionist overslept and took few minutes to woke them up. Terrible. "

"For the area of Sandakan that this hotel is in this is a pretty good option if you really have to stay here! I would not recommend the area at all. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. The room was adequate but the pillows were horrendous! Just lumpy lumps of hard sponge! The shower and sink use a pump system which was not smooth at all and you either had a ‘power’ shower or a trickle.
