"This hotel lives to its expectation. Very good for a 3 stars hotel. Ali the receptionist and owner was very helpful when i needed either things related to cleaning my clothes or recommending a place to go to. The location is central to Kaleici old town, and there are restaurants and shops within less 5min walking distance. Also Mermerli beach can be reached within an 8min walk. There is no AC in the reception but there is one in the room which blows air to the bed. If you want a cheap affordable hotel, I would definitely recommend."

"An amazing hotel in fantastic location in the heart of Old Town. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was spotless and pool area lovely. The restaurants were fabulous (great cocktails), a good selection at breakfast ( my only complaint was the orange squash but I found a shop nearby to buy fresh squeezed juice). A very traditional hotel with a chilled vibe. Very close to the shops and marina . I would highly recommend."

"Great rooms with cmfortable beds, black out curtains and A/C, which is essential in the summer. Such a treat to cool off with an evening swim at the hotel after a day out in the sun. Hotel is within walking distance to bars, restaurants and nightlife. Staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good as well. We would definitely stay here again."

"The Ruinadalia is a stunning property with amazing ruins underneath, which you can tour! It has a gorgeous pool, a good bar and OK restaurant (the menu could use some finessing).the grounds are outstanding and it’s in a terrific location in Old Town. The staff are attentive and helpful. Having said all that, we cannot give it a higher rating due to the condition of the property. Paint chipping, gigantic scratches in the wood floor in our room, pool umbrellas falling apart, the safe in our room wouldn’t work, and there’s a general sense that the hotel is showing its age. This hotel has the potential to be a luxury 5 star hotel. It’s a shame they’ve let it go."

"The staff have been very kind when I needed help to get to my next destination. The hotel is in the perfect location to see the sights in the Old Town, and it's near the beautiful park. It can get a bit noisy at night because of the location, but with earplugs, and tired from the excellent tours available here, that wasn't a problem. This hotel was perfect for me as a single female traveller. I felt safe, the room was perfect for me, and the hotel was good value for money. I am very grateful to the staff at Kariva Hotel and I wish them the best in life."
