"Whether you're a dog owner or not, the place is nice and clean. It's in the heart of town next to Southern Oregon State University. I have a little dog, a beagle, and the place was very quiet. The walls are so thick that you really don't hear anybody around you. The staff is very nice and doesn't bother you. So, with that decent price, it's hard to get better than this."

"Just returned from my 3rd stay at the Bard's Inn and it will not be the last. I absolutely love everything about this hotel. The location is prime. Very close to downtown shops and restaurants 1-3 minutes. 5 minute walk to Lithia Park. Staff is very friendly. Extremely quiet. I saw other guests but I didn't hear a peep from them the entire time from within my room. I traveled with 2 children this time around and they loved the pool and breakfast options. "We did a last minute trip to Ashland to see a few plays this past weekend. Susan and Adam the owners were wonderful hosts and very friendly. We left early in the AM of our check out date and was going to miss the scheduled 9am breakfast. Susan and Adam had a to go plate of the pastry being served that morning along with some berries to take on our drive home. This was a very nice surprise. We plan to go back and stay with them again,. "
