"The hotel was obviously under construction. The smell of paint, sheetrock , toilets in the back yard area, old furniture in the rooms, room numbers duct taped on the doors, the smoke detectors had bags on them and painters tape where obviously they were going to be painted around at some point. "This property as I understand it is under new management. They really should ONLY book rooms that are fully repaired so they don't get poor ratings. Staff was very good and tried their best to be helpful. We really should have dropped our booking and went some place else but we were tired and it was late. They really should have comped a reduce rate for all the issues but we were through Expedia so that wasn't an option."
