The Bundi Palace is situated on the hillside adjacent to the Taragarh Fort and is notable for its lavish traditional murals and frescoes. The Chitrashala (picture gallery) of the palace is open to the general public and the art work is very, very old. The walk up to the Palace is also interesting as you go through the old streets to the castle.
The main tourist attractions in Bundi are in quite a small area, but on the hill that the palace and fort lie on there is a great view of the city.

Such a special place to stay. We loved looking out over the city and fort from the rooftop every morning and evening. Beds are comfortable, shows are hot, staff are very nice and the restaurant food is good.
