"Due to the time of the year of my stay, there was a lot of humidity in the area, so I had to set the thermostat on the AC to 70°F on high in order to keep the room dry. Since there’s no carpeting and only tile and flooring, the floors would get very wet and slippery. I have a physical disability, which affects my mobility and I use crutches to walk with. When I informed the staff that the floor was too slippery, they quickly brought some towels to keep the floors dry until the room was dry...

"We had a wonderful stay at Loyd Hall Plantation and were really impressed with how the staff handled unexpected issues.
The first room I originally requested showed as available, but due to heavy weather the night before, the roads had flooded and housekeeping was unable to clean it in time. The staff communicated this quickly and kindly upgraded us to the camilia Suite instead.
