"Sauber und gemütlich. Alt eingesessenes Wirtshaus. Viele Einheimische kehren hier ein, was für das Restaurant spricht. Speisen und Getränke von hoher Qualität. Einzelzimmer fand ich etwas zu teuer, ist aber wohl darauf zurückzuführen, dass es ein Doppelzimmer ist. Einzelzimmer werden wohl nicht angeboten. Dusche / WC sehr neu und sauber. Frühstück i.O."

"Staff were rude and charged me for 2 Breakfasts when it was stated they were free on the confirmation email. The curtains do not close on the windows so it I permanently light in the room. My Uncle tried to close the curtain in his room and it came off the rail.amd fell on to the floor. Room was okay except for this bit the staff were rude."

However the breakfast is overpriced at nearly 17 euros - there is a limited buffet selection with no hot food and only coffee from a machine, its not worth the money."

    "My wife and I stayed in Haus am Stadttor for two nights in August 2025. We absolutely loved the place. It is perfectly located and very comfortable, with everything you could possibly need for a short or long-term stay. We slept like babies in the comfortable bed and enjoyed the quiet, though the house is located a very short walk to the altstadt. Mathias was also very friendly, welcoming, kind, helpful and flexible. He let us check in early and allowed us a late check-out. All-in-all, a great stay!"
