"Lovely hotel with great staff and a beautiful location. The breakfast was excellent - possibly the best chicken curry I’ve had in Sri Lanka. The only downside is that is quite far from the centre of Ella - and getting a Tuk-Tuk through PickMe was almost impossible - meaning I had to pay at least twice as much to flag one down."

"Our stay at Yala Safari Camping was absolutely amazing! The staff greeted us at the meeting point outside the park and organized a private ride to the glamping tents. When we arrived there was a home cooked Sri Lankan lunch waiting for us. Our room was very clean, air conditioned and equipped with everything we could need. It was also beautifully nestled into the jungle with amazing views and surrounded by wildlife. The safari tour was great, our guide was very helpful and made sure we had a great view of everything, we even saw a leopard! Thank you so much for making our stay so incredible and memorable!!"

"By far the most pleasant stay in Sri Lanka this far and considering the standard of hospitality in Sri Lanka this hotel was exceptional. The staff could not be more amazing. We stayed two nights and certainly wish we stayed longer. 10/ 10 would recommend"

"We had a wonderful stay at Elevate Ella! The location is perfect, with amazing views that make the stay truly special. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax and unwind. The pool is lovely and the perfect spot for some afternoon relaxation while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was another highlight, with something different each day and a great mix of local and Western options. There was plenty of variety, and everything we tried was delicious. Overall, the combination of the beautiful views, perfect location, spacious rooms, relaxing pool, varied breakfast, and warm hospitality made our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Ella!"

"Amazing place. Can’t fault a single thing. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and it was amazing. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Always ready to help with a buggy. Spa was amazing in a very scenic set up. Secluded yet just a few mins drive to main city centre. Pool area is nice but the pool is rather small. Breakfast is very good, made to order. Complimentary guided trek to little Adams peak just behind the resort. They gave discount vouchers for Ravana pool club and zip lining but we didn’t have time to try. Overall fully recommend."

"My parents were there to celebrate my dad’s birthday, and although we celebrated a little late, they had such a wonderful experience. Quoting my dad “The birthday arrangement was beautiful, the cake was lovely, and the famous DoubleTree cookie was the best. The breakfast and dinner buffets were both excellent, and the amenities were exceptional.” What really stood out to them was the warmth and attention to detail throughout their stay. My mum still can’t stop complimenting the food; my parents have travelled all around Sri Lanka and tried many different cuisines, so coming from them, that is actually really huge to hear! Next time I’m in Lanka, I already know where my first stop will be. 10/10 for such a great stay!"

"Staff were incredibly helpful warm and welcoming. The views were amazing from our room; from welcome area and pool area. Definitely recommend this place. The room was spacious and clean. Location was 1 km from ella so approx 500 SR to get to town (uphill!) but an easy walk ( downhill ) to get back !!"
