Hotel Riu Jalisco - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"We had a 3 bedroom family room and it was great! Two of the bedrooms are private with one king bed and the other room a full bed. There are two king beds in the main area. It fit 3 adults and 3 children comfortably and had room for more people. The only thing I wish it had was a tub but it did have two bathrooms and no issues with them. One had double vanity with separate toilet room and the other was a single vanity. Ocean view and balcony were great!"

Barceló Puerto Vallarta - All Inclusive
4/10 Poor
"To be honest I was super excited to stay at this place, for the price we paid I was expecting better quality in everything, but the his was my worst experience of all, but for others to know if you are looking for a place with fun activities this is not the place, the place is nice but has almost nothing to do, you can’t get in the beach, the waves are to strong and deep, you can’t even go for a walk there is no place to walk, the pictures lied it’s not what it looks like, the entertainment is very limited, all the staff at this resort looks so stressed out 😰 they barely smile at the tourists, at the buffet they will brake glasses or plates every day, we were a group of 4 and we had been to so many other places and this environment was the worse, we felt like the whole management of the property is wrong, we couldn’t wait to get out of this place, I don’t recommend this place, unless you just want to eat very bad food and sleep two of us got sick because in several occasions we felt we had a bad bite of food."

Hotel Tropicana - Near Olas Altas Street
8/10 Good
"A coffee pot would be great. And I had a shower at 5:30 am. Was cold. Apparently the hot water doesn’t come on untill the sun comes up. I am an early riser. It really was not wonderful. The room was kept really clean as well as the rest of the hotel. It is older but staff is kind and friendly. Restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Location is wonderful lots restaurants along the beach."

Hotel Riu Vallarta - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Great service and entertainment. Property may need some up keeping as beach chairs were often dirty. But overall a great place to relax!"

Hotel Riu Palace Pacifico - Adults Only - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"The rooms were great, we were put in a room facing construction the first night and they moved us easily when we asked for a change. I loved the pool areas, they were so much cleaner than other resorts we have stayed at.
I was disappointed with the food, so many reviews said it was amazing and I felt like it was only mediocre. The steakhouse was great, the buffet was very good, but the rest of the restaurants weren’t awesome. The food was often dry, and the options were very limited. I also ended up with GI upset after 2 days, and I’m not sure if it was from something I ate.
The spa was a disappointment as well. The massage was nice, but the pools were disappointing. There were two small tubs, one cooler and one warmer. The sauna wasn’t working. I guess I’m comparing this to the spa in other resorts, and I found it lacking in comparison.
The resort credit idea was terribly misleading. You only are allowed to apply a very small percentage of the resort credit to any one thing (like 15% off on massage or one excursion). We stayed elsewhere last year and the resort credit allowed us each to have one full massage basically for free. This year, we didn’t barely touch the resort credit. To come close to using the $500, you basically need to do an excursion, photo package, or spa treatment every day.
Overall, the resort was beautiful and well maintained. The entertainment was also very good. "

Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

"Amazing experience! Beautiful views and great food."

Delta Hotels by Marriott Riviera Nayarit, An All-Inclusive Resort
10/10 Excellent
"I decided to take a last minute solo vacation and was looking for a quiet relaxing all inclusive and this did not disappoint! I will definitely be coming back to this property. All of the staff were super friendly and the food was great! The little pools throughout the property and the lazy river was my favourite. Can wait to return"

Melia Puerto Vallarta - All inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"This resort is a total gem. Beautiful Ocean Front view, hardworking and friendly staff from housekeeping, dining, pool side and front desk. It was our first time to stay at Melia for a family vacation (there were 23 of us in total from 3 years old to 83 years of age, and this place never disappoint! We would like to give a shout out and express my gratitude to Hector from guest services for his exceptional customer service. He was so accommodating, friendly and very respectful. We had a bit of issue in our room when we checked in however, Hector looked after it within minutes. The food at the buffet was very good as they have a huge variety everyday. The one that stood out was our sunset dinner at the Fish House on our last day since they were able to accommodate 23 people. The food was topnotch, the view was amazing and our servers were excellent. Melia totally exceeded our expectations. It was truly a memorable family vacation. We are already planning to go back, hopefully, by next year!"
