"Our hotel stay was excellent. No complaints at all for cleanliness. Our jacuzzi tub was spotless and worked to perfection. So relaxing, clean, and up to date."

"It’s not the worst place I ever stayed, but I had to think about it. Our nonsmoking room smelled of smoke. The WiFi was unsecured and didn’t have enough bandwidth to use. The TV periodically went blank. The parking lot lights were dark, which was a concern since the motel is behind an abandoned Wendy’s and across the hwy from a motel-turned-meth house. There was the persistent chirp of a dying smoke detector in an adjacent room. The shower’s hot & cold controls were connected backward. But our bathroom had a fancy light fixture on the 7 ft ceiling next to the air-intake above the shower. The continental breakfast was fine. The bed & pillows were comfortable. We had no problems checking in or out. Towels were replaced each day during our stay. "

"The best rate was higher than I think it should be. My reservation request was being called in late in the afternoon so it seemed it should be less. Their sister hotel a mile away was suggested for a lower rate but I wasn’t thrilled with the photos. I decided to try Hotels.com and I should’ve known — $35 less for the same room. The elevator was scary, making really unusual sounds. The tv offerings were awful. Satellite? The night desk clerk at check in was fabulous, very polite and friendly. The bed, particularly pillows, was out of this world. Liked the bathroom toiletries. The convenience to the Ochsner LSU Hospital could not be beat. Breakfast was decent, not thrilling. "
