"We had to walk up thirty stairs to the top room which was claustrophobic and the bed was very high. The toilet system was very loud. My partner couldn’t get into the shower as she is on the large size and struggled with the stairs which did not have a proper banister. We checked out two days early as she couldn’t cope with the stairs and the room and we are awaiting a refund for those two days."

"Great place to stay, close to the beach and all the shops, pubs and bars. The owner Sam was great and personally welcomed me on arrival. As the guest house description says its limited parking, don't do what I did. I drove down the car park spaces to find them all taken, the turning point is extremely tight and I had to reverse all the way out which wasn't easy. Room was fantastic and I will definitely be staying there again while I m working in the WSM area."

"Was given the codes to get in the property and the room number. I like this type of checking in as you dont feel as if people are watching you. I was given the owners number so that if i had a problem he would be able to sort it."

"We booked a studio for two nights which was on 1/F and clean. A bottle of milk and some cakes were offered, which tasted good. We could park in the driveway or on the street. We visited the Four Waterfalls and hiked to the Pen y Fan along the horse shoe route, both spots were within 30 minutes of drive. Tesco and restaurants were just within a few minutes."

"The staff were absolutely fantastic and communication was really good. The room was quite basic but if you’re a solo traveler looking for a bed, it’s pretty good. I would say the shower could be cleaner but it wasn’t a major issue."

I drove back onto the main road and saw a small lane on the right and a sign propped against the wall showing Church Farm guest house. There was no sign for anyone coming from Abergavenny, like me.
