"Staff was efficient and friendly. Rooms were clean, functional and decent water pressure for rhe shower. The pools were clean and maintain. The private beach access helped a ton to prevent over crowding. We could enjoy our space without being too close to others. The outdoor shower/rinse off area was very convient after getting covered in sand at the beach.
Only downsides were the soda machine was not operational and neither was the hot tub. This was not a huge deal for myself and my toddler,...

"Great Stay! I was a little concerned with past reviews but figured out that the bad reviews were from the previous hotel. This is a newly taken over Home 2 and what you’d expect from a great Hilton family! It is exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful Oceanfront room with a balcony, kitchenette and easy parking! Room was clean and staff was amazing! We will be back anytime we are in the Outer Banks area!"

"The floors were very sandy. I just checked my credit card and I was charged $200.00 for the pet fee that I was quoted $100.00. Their dog park was full of holes and tall weeds. I asked when they were going to cut the tall weeds and 5 days later the weeds all around the hotel still hadn’t been cut. For a Marriott that place needed a lot of maintenance work inside and outside. The breakfast was okay and the clean up ladies were very nice."
