"Nice place, we're staying here for the second time. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there are plenty of them within 5-10 minutes' drive. The rooms are clean and have a wonderful ocean view. Easy beach access, available parking, and a surfing shop across the street make it especially nice."

"Enjoyed staying here for a family vacation to Wilmington. Close to different restaurants, shopping etc, 25 mins away from Carolina Bea h and other beaches. Breakfast was average - no waffles for the buffet or assortedfruits just bananas and oranges only disappointed especially for our six year old. "

"We’ve been staying at Homewood Suites Mayfaire for several years. It is our favorite hotel in Wilmington NC. The staff is always pleasant and extremely accommodating for all our needs. If I have any suggestions for management, this time around I found the bedsheets were somewhat scratchy. My skin is extremely sensitive, so I noticed this as soon as getting into the bed. I hope it was a one-time thing! The breakfast is always superior and the older gentleman assisting in the breakfast area...
