"This place is beautiful and staff very nice. The down falls are the size of the room and the way the property is set up. It is tucked in a very small corner...never gets any sun....no where to walk on propperty and the room was down 2 sets of stairs and up another. The room was the size of a postage stamp with no where to sit except on the bed or the porch...which had no sun beautiful view but cold. Also coffee maker didnt work and was hard to follow instructions. The bed was extremely comfotabl tho.So overall...disappointed. "

"We booked the king bed deluxe room with a fireplace and balcony for my boyfriend’s birthday and had an amazing time. Upon check-in we were pleasantly surprised with a birthday note and local chocolates, as well as a note from the cleaning staff to wish us a nice stay. The room was modern, clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the view was great. The complimentary breakfast was very basic but did the job. Having Browns Socialhouse on location was very convenient. (Great salmon poke bowl & French dip sandwich) The outdoor jacuzzi did get busy but watching the sunset while relaxing there wasn’t too shabby :) I wish there was access to it from the outside gate (exit only) rather than having to walk around and through the gym but I understand why they did that (so you can grab towels and shower). The beach is sandy and long with some rocks and tide pools to explore. Tofino is just a few minute drive away. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you "

"Staff was very helpful. My room was very quiet so had a great sleep. Hot shower. Forgot to pack my swim trunks so could not enjoy the sauna. Good location to the Wick and to downtown. Overall enjoyable. Glad they had a coffee shop inside. "

"The room was really nice and cozy, and the bathroom was stunning. The new renovation looks absolutely amazing! The front desk accommodated an earlier check-in for us which was lovely. We also didn’t hear any noise from the pub downstairs at all, but we were in the wing on the other side of the hotel — if we had paid for an ocean view then we would have been in the wing directly above the pub which would have likely meant noise. The Bear was also really good and the oysters we had were divine! Would absolutely stay here again"
