"This is an older historic hotel which has been updated but keeps it's charm. It looked like they have nice jazz music and other pub events but these were not open the Monday night we stayed. We did walk to dinner nearby. Downtown Bellingham is still recovering from Covid so not all is lively. But the hotel had active security, great parking, and I felt completely safe. "I cannot say enough great things about the staff!!! Plus, they served appetizers and drinks in the evening. There was a terrific breakfast and a chef to prepare omlets to your liking. And the beds were sooo comfortable and sheets so soft. Definite stay again!!!"

"We arrived late and didn't stay long, but the property was beautiful, loved the entrance and common areas.
The room was good, the bed/pillows very comfortable.
We ate at their restaurant, it was really delicious, but didn't have the opportunity to use their pool and hot tub. Next time!"

"This place has amazing variety of breakfast foods. They prepare warm meals daily for the guest like myself, they are kid friendly and they also accept pets. I want to point out that I prefer a softer bed do to my many spine surgeries it’s nicer to have a pillow topper/memory foam to rest on but the beds are ok for now.
Even though I have stayed here continuously since July,12th to present I have never really seen but two animals and they were on a leash. So I feel great about staying here...
"The bed was comfortable but pillows were too soft and I prefer something a bit more firmer like thank you for a lot of pillows. Some things If I knew was in the room I would have asked for help getting some things down I did mention it would be nice if they provided a step stool for us short adults and as well kids too.
