Nice find
Very friendly staff, noise level was low and the shower had hot water. The trikes which provide transportation around the city stage right outside of the hotel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the room, which was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The drapes were a little outdated, but that was purely cosmetic. Good water pressure and hot shower. Big item on my list. Air conditioning kept the room cool, although after my first day the unit failed. They immediately moved me to another room within 3 minutes. No messing around trying to repair while I waited. Trikes are readily available for transportation right in front of the hotel. A very good experience overall. Definitely recommended a stay.

Nice overall. I’m used to USA . A more conventional shower that doesn’t spray water all over the floor would be nicer. Appreciate the security at front door , nice receptionists , and overall pretty nice

Room not made up throughout stay, had to change rooms in the first few day due to faulty door lock, water leak through light fitting and down wall at room entrance,

Few feet away from Gaisano Super Metro and a little meters away (walking distance) from city centre. This is a nice hotel for a few days of stay. Would be nicer if they have their own restaurant.

Not worth the money
I can only talk about room 407. In this room the CR is in very bad condition. The Aircon is extremely loud. The room was not cleaned automatically, you have to tell the reception that the room has to be cleaned. There is no closet in the room, also no table no chair.

the Only good thing was the WiFi worked ok in the room. The room smelled of mold and bathroom had broken tile and when you walked on them dirty water would come up through the cracks. Front desk staff unfriendly. A lot of road noise and honking horns from the traffic outside. Room was cleaned once during the week. Give this place a pass and spend a few extra pesos and stay ciriaco.

Good stay , value for money.
I like the big room space. Bathroom was alright, except that I didn't like the wet floor, that I had to wear slippers while taking a shower, and the water wasn't draining properly, so hubby had to fix the drain by pumping with the rubber slippers. :( Then I went out of the bathroom, I almost slipped cause the floor had some waxy substance. Downey?? There's also only 1 outlet in the room, so we had to charge our celfones with our shoes on top of the trashcan and the celfone on top of the shoes so our charger cable would reach the outlet of the TV. I wish you had a restaurant so we didn't have to go out to have our dinner, cause we were so tired from a long landtrip from Tacloban. Breakfast ordered as room service was fine... the free water from the dispenser at the lobby was a nice touch.

Budget friendly in the heart of Calbayog
Meaco is a great budget choice. Rooms are spacious and have basic amenities. In the heart of Calbayog where there are lots of food choices and Super Metro grocery is right across the street.

3 star hotel w/ a price of a 2 star hotel. Clean, nice room, bed, bathroom & w/ flat screen tv. Elevator too. Staff are friendly. Location near resto, mall, & van rides to anywhere in Samar.

Great experience booking into the Meaco !!! I travel constantly . It was clean trendy , exellent location and well priced . Will use again next time ... security friendly , great eating houses near by . Also a great little city with wide pollution free streets . 인사성 없는 호텔
여태 호텔을 이용했지만 인사성 없는 호텔은 여기인것 같네요.그리고 부대시설은 아무것도 없고 늦은 Check out 시간에 시간당 패소가 150패소입니다. 하루숙박은 1200패소임에도 불구하고 너무 과한것 같아요.

Excellent staff, reasonable price & great location
Excellent staff, reasonable price & great location - accessible to all. The only problem was no closet/drawer in our room & food service takes awhile to deliver. Above all, it was a nice place to stay.

It was a beautiful and brand new hotel. We had no complaints with the place. However, there is a possibility that they had bed bugs. I hope not because it was a very nice place. My wife had many bites on her legs and we don't know where else they came from.
