"John was super cordial and helpful at early checkin! He was a welcoming ambassador for this Five Pines Resort! This was an amazing respite, from the very well appointed cabin, to the amenities like complimentary happy hour, bikes, and breakfast, we couldn’t have asked for a more hospitable stay. There is even a hiking trail and access to an athletic club on the property. We absolutely loved our stay here!!!"

"The staff was great. The front desk woman was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. The free breakfast was one of the best I have ever had at a hotel. The breakfast lady was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the water was hot with good water pressure. Great beds. BUT THERE WAS NO OVERHEAD LIGHTING IN THE BEDROOM AREA. The bedside lights were very dim and not useful for reading in bed. Made for a dark room. That’s my only criticism of this property."
