"Very friendly staff, comfortable and spacious accommodation. Only challenge is an accurate understanding of meeting arrangements to gain initial entry: Staff was waiting inside, unbeknownst to us, whilewe were waiting outside ! Instructions should stress “ring doorbell on arrival”, and provide location, since it’s a little hard to find, especially in the dark. But otherwise a truly lovely choice in Bordeaux."

"The Mondrian Bordeaux Les Carmes is a beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel common areas and rooms are beautifully and comfortably decorated. It’s a peaceful oasis amidst a busy city. We very much enjoyed the outdoor terrace and the spa. The hotel is located in the Chartrons neighborhood on the North side of Bordeaux. "We had an amazing stay, our room with the terrace was gorgeous, so light and fresh. We really enjoyed use of the hot tub. A great breakfast each morning with fresh and yummy ingredients. Parking a real bonus - very secure and large enough for our van. The location was perfect, very central to all the main sights. Would definitely recommend and stay here again"

"Staff was amazing throughout the stay and the room was impeccable. We loved the suite, the finishes, and the balcony. Bed was super comfy. Cocktail bar downstairs is underrated, not sure why it seemed empty because the bartender was a master and their gin selection was very impressive. Breakfast in the morning was also well worth it, the chef was very attentive and her food was delicious. We 100% plan to return and would highly recommend booking the suite for your stay. "

"Room was clean and very nicely appointed. I missed the instructions for access as my phone wasn’t receiving messages and didn’t realize it was a keypad entry which I needed a code. Luckily the coffee shop attached to the property had a nice fellow who gave us access to the key box and gave us the exterior code. Location was easy to Tram but it was a little noisy because of the busy street but the room supplied ear plugs as we were on the first floor. If the coffee shop wasn’t open, which it is...

"This hotel is located in a business district a good 10 minute walk to the tram stop for travelling into town Unfortunately the bedroom windows were all blocked by wire caging which restricted any views Breakfast food quality was very good. Beds were large & very comfortable. Hotel was very clean & staff at reception were excellent. We were not aware of the dining room located on the first floor until we were leaving which looked very good."

"It is a little far from the city center, but you can walk to the excellent wine museum. The hotel is clean and nice, but we were surprised that there was no refrigerator in the room, especially since it can be warm during the day. It may not be suitable for guests who like to have cold water available, like at home."
