B&B di Calvados

"My husband didn’t like having to go up 60+ stairs to our room and he found the bed a bit ‘lumpy’. We didn’t have breakfast as we left at 6.30 am to catch the ferry. Stair carpet looks tired and ready for replacement. Conveniently located for the ferry port and near to the beach front. Plenty of restaurants offering good menu choices in the area."

"Historic chateau. Spacious room. Lovely breakfast included. Parking available"

"Super friendly hosts, wonderful locally sourced food. Very quiet and peaceful in a beautiful country side setting. My highest recommendation!"

"Lovely place with wonderful staff. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean. Only issue is that it is an old building so has noisy floors that creak. I would certainly stay here again with great value"

"We had a fantastic and relaxing stay at the small, cozy and romantic hotel. The beds are good, the air conditioning works perfectly and it is possible to cool the room down, even on very hot days. The breakfast is with local cheeses and products. Delicious. The garden is cozy and with a lovely view of cows and the Pont de Normandie. The beautiful bridge over the Seine. The host couple are sweet and keen on you having a good stay. The hotel gets the best recommendation from here."

"Very great stay and a nice garden area"

"Beautiful orchard with many cows and apple trees. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious with the hosts’ own products eg apple juice, jam, honey and hot milk. The hosts William and Dominique were lovely. I miss the stay in the farm."

"The manor was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone. Excellent!!!"

"Valerie was very accommodating with any questions we had or for giving us tips such as when our train was cancelled and we had to get a taxi to Caen. It was nice to have breakfast waiting for us in the morning when we had an early tour and she always had a homemade dessert. It’s a simple lodging and the location is perfect."
