The staff is very nice, and provided great info about the apartment and the surroundings. There are plenty of restaurant options around, not to mention the great shops and commodities such as a supermarket just a few minutes from the apartment. "This is a lovely, professionally-run hotel. We paid extra for a balcony with a sea view and didn't regret it. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Driving and parking in Taormina is expensive and challenging. We paid 50 euros to park at Porta Pasquale for 3 nights. It's about a 5-10 minute walk downhill from the hotel. People had a really hard time figuring out how to use the parking machine, but eventually everyone did. They need better instructions. "
