We loved the common room downstairs equipped with tea, coffee, ironing board, and the pretty terrace attached to it. The location was excellent in the heart of old town. "Very friendly and helpful staff. The location couldn’t be any better, few blocks from the beach and all the shops and restaurants and the main city square. Conveniently located 15 minutes walk from the Nice train station. The room was very nice and clean. The neighborhood is very nice and safe. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Pretty good location, almost anywhere I'd want to go in Nice was little more than a 30 minute walk away, with lots of good public transport for most others. Only issue with location is that I was frequently going to palais des expositions which doesn't have a direct route by public transport so walking was usually faster. I can't speak for the "student" aspect of the hotel as I used it just as a room for a few nights and never went to communal areas. But the room was clean with a good view and...

"We stayed in the best room at Hôtel La Pérouse Nice, and overall it was a pleasant experience. On the first night, the jacuzzi bathtub was unfortunately not working. However, the manager handled the situation professionally and did his best to compensate us, which we truly appreciated. The staff throughout our stay were very kind, attentive, and provided excellent service. Despite the small issue, we enjoyed our time here and would consider coming back.
