"Very clean and comfortable, But our room fridge was noisy. The balcony tiles were loose which made a noise when walked on. Reported to Reception but was ignored"

"We stayed at a hotel (a parador) on the grounds of Castillo de Lorca and loved it. Dungeons, archers, an oversized chessboard, a really big key and a stunning view of Lorca at night. And the hotel had a pool, a small spa and a restaurant so we never had to get in our car if we didn’t want to. I didn’t even know what a parador was, but they’re hotels built on the grounds of antiquities. Spain has so many they built the hotels to encourage people to visit the lesser known sites. Ours was beautiful—we liked it so much we booked a second night."
