Staff was so warm and welcoming! They were so helpful as well, we lost our phone/wallet in the taxi when we were on our way out and Sebastian at the front desk was so kind and helpful he messaged around and was able to get it back for us. Restaurant staff was so sweet as well resort is so gorgeous and private as well barely anyone there during our stay. Only complaint I have was towels were so old they had holes/ missing fabric and sometimes came dirty. Also they haven’t changed the name of the hotel to Esplendor yet it is still Hotel Beló and we spent a good 20 min trying to find it with the Taxi only to find out the name is different from the one on Expedia. Besides that we really enjoyed our stay! The staff really are amazing and kind!

Great stay and excellent location! The best ways to get around Isla Mujeres are golf cart, taxi, or walking. There’s a taxi stand right outside the hotel, with about $10 USD to the ferry and $5–$7 quick trips around the island. The southern tip of the island is about a 30-minute walk and absolutely beautiful, with a state park and beach clubs along the way. Bring cash — it’s appreciated, and the local people were friendly, attentive, and wonderful. Overall, I believe this hotel is in one of the best spots on the island

I’ve been staying at this place Hotel Belo for. Over 6 years every 3 months and love it They just changed names and rules and very disappointed. Check In was great as always but they have to be on exact timing for everything no le way 1. Up stairs used to be the best music and view and bar. Now no food and beer is hot and music is low What’s the point of having it low where you can’t hear anything ? 2. One of the best breakfast on the island yes even for a hotel Now buffet style so all your food is served cold ! Asked for a beer only one ! But there two of us well the other has to go up and ask. That killed it for me WTH ! 3. no more room service after 12pm Then they said we got there towels dirty ! The towel was already stained with red and they charged for for that ! Wait so you give us used old towel they have been there for years and charge me for a new one cus you think I did it ! Very Very wrong I guess this is what happens when the big buy takes over After years of loyalty and spending my 3-4 days there. I’m afraid I’m going to look for a new place.

The front desk staff, both during the day and at night, were very nice, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The hotel was clean and had a beautiful view. The food was delicious as well. However, during breakfast we did feel overlooked. couldn’t help but feel that we were not given the same level of attention as other non-Latin guests. After getting seated and going to get our food, no one came by to offer us drinks for quite some time. We eventually got up to get them ourselves. Meanwhile, we observed servers checking on and offering drinks to other guests around us. It wasn’t until I stood up to get our own drinks that someone approached our table. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I believe all guests should receive the same level of attentiveness and service. We hope the hotel can ensure that every visitor feels equally welcomed and valued.

All inclusive is not expansive Food for breakfast and dinner was fine but no variety-menus never change. Lunch was dreadful no salads or fresh options, clearly everything was frozen. All inclusive had no feeling of luxury.

Overall it was good. The pros: service is excellent! Arnold, Umberto, Hugo, Matteo, victor, Jorge were all great. Location is outstanding…away from town and on the beach. Views are magnificent. Cons: all inclusive food is not great. We figured out what we could eat that we liked and lunch was extremely limited unless you like fried food. Breakfast was good…dinner was okay. Drinks were good and the ceviche and guacamole and chips were good, but after a week, it was a boring menu. The rooms were comfortable…but very noisy. We could her the couple next door fighting and street noise. It was very good considering the cost.

The room was spotless. Alberto, Hugo and all the waiters were wonderful and very attentive. They always made sure we were being taken care of and will always open the door for us.

A girls trip from the Midwest and found other girls/ families from the Midwest who were here for a winter getaway! Small enough to get to know staff and other guests to share ideas of places to go/sites to see on and off property. Loved staff Hugo Arnold and Alberto! Mateo can get you a taxi anytime to go to Punta sur or Playa Norte for the day. But we loved coming back to this quiet home. Very clean! Staff is wonderful! Love that it is a smaller resort. The beach is great with a beautiful sunset view. Beach chairs were plentiful and beds on beach to escape the sun if needed! The pools are both great! The sky deck felt like a private beach club with a top notch workout room better than hotels twice this size. Loved that all meals were table service (room service available but never used it) No buffets!! Food was prepared special for each plate and very accomodating to requests. Try green enchiladas or huevos rancheros for breakfast! They make an amazing cappuccino and tequila sunrise at the bar for breakfast. Get fish or shrimp ceviche at the snack bar for lunch. Don’t miss the corn cream soup and grilled salmon with a lemon drop martini for dinner. Tip well and get amazing service! Full Bar service at pool and sky deck for amazing fun! Ask for a special shot (Mexican Candy shot) or the bartender’s recommendation and you won’t be disappointed!

Everything was wonderful staff were very kind and went above board at their service! Beautiful clean hotel. Massage on the beach was outstanding I was having alot of pain with my shoulder and had been to the chiropractor 3 times before we left home and she fixed me no more pain. It was a ways from the main part of town. But taxi’s were inexpensive.
