Noisy, noisy, noisy
So noisy that I left early, not at all relaxing. Motorbike noise down both sides of the hotel, music pumping through the walls. The rooms with pools are adjacent to roads so instead of a tranquil space, they feel exposed to traffic noise at all hours.

大変良かったです！ホテルのスタッフさんも最高に良かったです！なぜならば、エクスペディアで1日観光のチャーターを予約しましたが、中々タクシーが来ず、困り果てていたらスタッフの方が見かねてタクシーの会社に連絡をしてくれました。その甲斐があって約１時間後にタクシーが来て無事観光をする事が出来ました！スタッフさんに感謝しています！ また、泊まりたいです！

Absolutely incredible hotel with beautiful staff and an amazing restaurant! The pool doesn’t get too much sun during the day but really close to the beach and the lawn to chill in the sun by the pool :)

The Slow is absolutely beautiful! The attention to detail in the design of the hotel is truly amazing! The staff is always very nice and helpful! They will give you recommendations at any time! Music is great, and room is so beautiful that you don’t feel bad spending extra time in it! It is a bit noisy to sleep but I think that’s the case for any and every hotel in Canggu. Area is very easy to get around quickly without getting lost. Lots of great restaurants nearby!

We thought The Slow was about quiet and relaxation. The decor and size of the suite is great, loved it. But it’s not quiet. We were there on a Saturday night and there was DJ playing in the bar til 11am heard clearly from our room. We were woken early by bikes, voices in the side driveway. It’s right on the main road which is good for walking to the beach, restaurants etc. Not sure why they have no TV or radio in the rooms, just their Chanel of tunes which won’t be loved by everyone. The pool was lovely in our suite but freezing cold so we didn’t use it as much as we would have liked. We also found the bed uncomfortable. Overall, it’s not what we expected.

Great stay

The decor of the hotel was really really cool and chic - simple but modern while maintaining elements of island vibes. The staff were really warm and friendly, and always happy to help where they can. The restaurant at the hotel was really nice, although a tad on the pricey-side for Bali, but still reasonable. Definitely worth checking!

Great stay at the Slow
The Slow staff were amazing and made the stay that much better. As the hotel only has 12 rooms they all know you personally by name and do anything they can to make your stay better. We stayed in both the regular suite room and room with a pool. Would definitely recommend staying here if in Canggu.

Great vibe and altogether a very cool space in a good location. I stayed in a pool suite, Room 2 - loved the design and furnishings. Pool area doesn't get a lot of sun which suits some but I would have liked to at least have the option for a bit more (without having to go to the beach!). Loved the furnishings and artwork. Food is good but there are many good food options in Canggu (and nearby Seminyak), and I found the service to be lacking. Either overly attentive or I'd have to flag someone down. I think there are better breakfast/brunch options around, and at dinner I felt like I was being hurried.

You feel like a rock star staying at this hotel. Everything is like the pictures. There are trendy people coming and going to the restaurant and you feel special walking past them to go to an actual room. We received welcome drinks on arrival, which is normal in Bali, but they are in these cool pint-of-liquor looking glasses. You might think the service at such a cool hotel would be drab compared to that at a resort, but it was just as great. They would offer to clean the room twice a day, spray for mosquitos, book taxi's. One of the restaurant staff members even offered to hold our fussy 3-month-old while we ate dinner. Canggu is certainly filled with cheaper hotels and even hostels to cater to the partying surfer types, but if you want to stay at a swanky and trendy hotel, this is the place.

Only Stayed One Night. This Is A Lovely Hotel. Rooms Are Large And The Daycor Was Beautiful. The Restaurant Meals Were Delicious. Over All Review. Just About Perfect. Beautifully appointed, modern and sophisticated .
The Slow is in an up and coming location but the area still retains a little of the old Bali which is nice. The modern and casual feel was a perfect match for beachside Caggnu, and the food there was the best we ate during our stay . The staff were all so so lovely and so eager to attend to anything we may have needed. Their happy faces and cheerful personalities were a welcome change.

This is the first time I am bothering to write a review for a hotel that I've stayed at, because The Slow deserve a glowing review. Absolutely loved the room and the service was stellar too. Celebrated my friend's birthday and they were really sweet - the team prepared a bouquet of flowers, handwritten card and even came up to our room to sing a birthday song with a cake for us. The staff chatted with us each time they saw us, and they even remembered the little details e.g. we went snorkelling 2 days before and one of the staff asked us how was snorkelling 2 days after - which we thought was very sweet of them.

Comfort and everything you need!
From the front, it looks like a chic simple restaurant/hotel with a chill vibe. We weren't expecting much but when we opened the door to our Pool Suite, boy, were we surprised! The room was well designed, simple yet luxurious, spacious yet cosy. It was incredibly true to the photos online. The pool looked very clean and well maintained and we liked the idea that they do not have a television, but instead have an in-room music system playing relaxing music 24/7 (which you have the often of adjusting the volume or turning it off). Place was pretty much perfect. If I had to nitpick, would be that the corners in the showers look like it needed a lot of cleaning. And as much as the bedsheets were comfortable and smelt nice, it was listed as a King bed, but its actually a KING SIZED bed made up of 2 twin beds and the problem is that you can clearly feel the protrusion in the middle where they are joined.

Fint och modernt hotell, passar par. Mycket bra musik, bar och restaurang - maten är fantastisk. Eftersom baren är så levande är det bra att veta att det kan låta lite om kvällarna när man ska sova - men det störde oss inte alls (slutar vid 1).

Kleines Boutique Hotel für Designliebhaber.
Eine einzigartige Location, in der sich jeder mit einem Sinn für Kunst und Interior sehr wohlfühlen wird. Auch das Restaurant ist super, sehr gutes Essen, gute Drinks, coole Crowd. Ein wirklich einzigartiges Konzept und ein Highlight meiner Bali Reise.

Great stay at The Slow
Gorgeously designed hotel in a great area. Would recommend for couples or friends, but probably not ideal for families. There were a couple of things that could have been better. For example, there's no coffee maker in the room, so if you like coffee or tea in the morning, you'll have to order it from the bar (approx. $10 for two coffees). They'll bring it into the room, which is better than having to go pick it up, but since they don't provide any robes in the room either, at least one of you will have to get up and get dressed to accept the coffee (they don't just hand it over through the door -- there's a whole set up that comes with the coffee, so they come in the room). There's also no place other than your room to just casually chill if you want to hang at the hotel (like by a pool or in a garden). They do have a restaurant area with some couches/benches, but since it's a public area, it's usually pretty crowded with people who want to have breakfast/lunch/dinner at The Slow or otherwise just hang. It's also VERY TRENDY, so expect everyone to be fully done up and looking gorgeous at all times ;)

Best time at The Slow
We spend our last two nights on Bali here and it was amazing! The Slow is an incredibly beautiful place. With the spacious room and the tasteful and hip furniture and details it felt more like moving into a new home than staying at a hotel. We tried breakfast and dinner once - it was both absolutely delicious. The best part by far was the staff. They were all lovely and communicative and helpful beyond normal duty. Even if for any reason you are not staying here, I highly recommend to swing by, have dinner and spend an evening hanging at the bar. This has been my favorite hotel experience so far! Thank you again to the whole team for treating us like friends!

Fantastiskt rum på fel ställe!
Mycket fint, modernt boende, snygg i tidning och stort och luftigt. Jag gillade inte Canggu så särkilt plus att jag skulle jobba en del, och det kändes då helt okej att hålla sig på rummet! Trivdes bra där på dagen! Kändes dock inte som att jag var på Bali. Och det var lyhört. Hade en skooterparkering nedanför mitt fönster och jag hörde tydligt när de stod där och pratade på morgonen och kvällen. Och om när det var mycket folk i restaurangen hördes det väl i rummet, vilket var lite störande ena kvällen. Gillar inte heller att mitt rum låg sp nära vägen, som var trafikerad med mycket scootrar och enoch annan störande motorcykel, sent på natten/tidig morgon. Lite konstigt med bara en liten hylla som reception, ingen "riktig" reception, utan bara en kille som dök upp lite då och då, och en padda/dator. Förutsatte nästan att man hade whatsapp, och det var modernt med elektroniska skyltar för do not disturbe/ please make up the room. Mycket bra innehåll i minibaren, myggmedel, solskyddsmedel, bananchips, Bali Belly Aid m.m till hyfsade priser. Jag gillade inte helt musiken som spelades, inte så soft utan lite för störig för min smak, så jag hade den avstängd för det mesta.

Perfect pad to stay slow like the name suggests. Amazing design and decor, incredible food and drink in downstairs restaurant and nice roof terrace up top. Few minutes walk to day and night time spots at beach. We wanted for nothing during our stay.
