"This property has excellent potential, but currently is overpriced. We had no tv while there, internet was down second day due to changing providers, not enough dishes to feed 5 people, only one ratty dish towel, lawn chairs instead of real indoor seating. Beds were comfortable but some sheets had holes in them. If you like rustic this is perfect. The cabins are set back in the woods making it feel you are out in the woods. "We paid months ahead as with many other accommodations, which we've never had any issues with. This place was hard to find so we called to clarify directions, and we were told if we didn't have a 4x4 that it wasn't possible to get to (which was NOT mentioned on the booking site on Expedia) We were left to scramble and find a place to stay last minute which was inconvenient and cost a lot more. We were also informed we would be given the money back but months later we still haven't seen it. "

"The house, property and landscaping was amazing. The outdoor bed by the hot tub is covered and wonderful for napping. The view is amazing. I would definitely stay there again. The neighbors are really nice and washed our clothes. The gate made us feel safe and was easy to locate. "

"Just had a fantastic weekend at this brand new, cozy studio apartment. It's quiet, has everything you need, and the new spacious garden is lovely. Plus, it's only a quick 3-minute drive to downtown Monteverde. Definitely planning on coming back!"
