"Beautiful surroundings, quiet and private. Clean and well furnished, kitchen well done. The locking of the gate at 6 was a surprise to us and it would be nice to mention it or highlight this, phoning to say we are running 30 min late we did not get an option….very stressful on that road. Arriving we realised that the gate was manned and could have been opened for us 😟 The restaurant is very pricy, would be popular if there could be some cheaper family options. "Haes farm was absolutely amazing. Nothing short of beautiful uninterrupted scenery. If you are looking for an escape away from the city and still want to be in a more or less modern establishment this is for you. Harry and Steyn are the best hosts and we enjoyed interacting with them and they made us feel at home. We are definitely going back for another awesome escape."
