"The room and public areas showed signs of age and poor maintenance BUT the view was awesome, the bed was super comfortable, the shower and bathroom fixtures worked perfectly and there was always plenty of hot or cold water. The mini-fridge/freezer and microwave worked perfectly as well. The location is nearly perfect for enjoying the nighttime entertainment. Ocean Resort is adjacent to the 24th street stage, 25th street performance space, and an easy walk to the 17th and 31st street venues. It’s right on the boardwalk/bike path with bike and surrey rentals and a gift shop. Steps to the beach. We saw dolphins, seagulls, and pelicans from our balcony."
