Place offers plenty of room to spread out compared to hotel options. Good view of mountain and balcony to take in views. Secured building with coffee options in lobby. Basic utensils and bathroom products offered.

Overall a very comfortable modern stay

Loved our stay here. You get such a nice view and such a large apartment for a very good price so it is excellent value. There was 24hr security though I felt that they could've been more friendly. Other than that a good stay

Worst Hotel Stay Ever

Worst "hotel" stay I have ever experienced. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Booked for 5 nights but left after 3 nights. Despite advertising itself as a hotel, it is not a hotel. It is a serviced apartment. There is no housekeeping. There is no front desk (just a security desk for the building). The restaurant on premises is a cafe that has nothing to do with the apartment. The apartment was not very clean. In addition there was no hot water. I complained twice and was told it was fixed. It was not. Then I found out from the cafe owner that the hot water issue was building wide and would not be fixed for several days as they were waiting for parts. I feel I was lied to so that I would stay. Complained to Hotels.com and requested a refund of last 2 nights that I did not use. De Wterkant never responded to Hotels.com despite repeated requests. Hotels.com has not taken any further action due to the lack of response. I have been very disappointed in Hotels.com's service.

The stay was not enjoyable because we did not know it was an apartment and not hotel setting. There was no Wi-Fi outside the apartment. We spent only one night there and had to go to regular hotel.

I don’t normally complain but this properrty was disappointing. No AC in bedrooms. The person who checked me in left an opened roll of toilet paper in the floor in front of the main door. No soap in kitchen sink. My bed’s leg was broken, woke up woth terrible back pain. I reported it and it was “fixed” by placing a ceramic cereal bowl under the bed. Bed’s headboard had a large oily handprint. Entering and exiting the building is not simple. I don’t recommend.

Really nice stay and exceptional value

Brand new building and well proportioned and appointed apartments. Our group had two different units and both with fantastic with great views of the ocean and mountaints

Fabulous residences in a great location

Great spot, only a 10 min short walk to the V&A Waterfront and also plenty to do and see if the immediate De Waterkant vicinity including a gorgeous rooftop bar and restaurant called Utopia in the building just opposite the road. Apartment was clean and beautiful and so we were very comfortable.

Fantastic all round stay

Really nice loft-style apartment on a high floor with an upstairs bedroom and ensuite bathroom, full kitchen, dish washer, compact laundry and large living and dining area, everything you need. Large balcony overlooking De Waterkant area. Grocery, cafe, restaurant, and rental car agency all within walking distance. Also felt like a really safe area to walk around in which was great. I'd book again for sure.

Gorgeous Apartment, Wonderfully Safe and Secure

Perfect stay in absolutely Palatial Suite

Wonderful stay and very well appointed suite in an excellent location with secure parking. We had a fabulous time in Cape Town while in town for a conference.

Same as the other week impossible to sleep in that upstairs room. Booked other places for the 2 weeks on my cost - they refuse to refund no one reachable no one cares I would say no service at all do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else Area unsafe nothing around Let the lawyers fight it out
