Great villa, noisy road

We could not fault the villa itself. Very well appointed and extremely comfortable. Staff were very friendly and always available by instant message for any queries. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Very easy walk to the main bars and restaurants with great views. We had a braai two of the nights we stayed (of 5) and there was all the things we needed to do this (you need to buy your own charcoal and lighters). The only negative was it being on a very busy road. This was especially bad at the weekend when it was enough to disturb those sleeping at the front of the villa until the early hours. There are great lounging spaces at the front of the villa though the road noise made it difficult to hold a conversation. We wouldn’t return to this villa only because of the road. Everything else was excellent. We would use the villa rental company again and look for another villa slightly further up the hill from the main road.
