Service orientated staff

It was a cost effective choice. Had all the good things like location, excellent service orientated staff. But the facilities need modernising.

Rooms very poor, old set up, needs upgrade, stayed there before in much better room but very disappointing this time. Beds bad, alot of bugs, bathroom flooded

They only need to be more responsive to guests messages requesting certain services to make their stay more comfortable. They did not reply to my messages requesting some special dietary needs.

Stay somewhere else

Everything was just old…the carpets looked sooo worn out, the bathroom randomly made a sound at night which was terrible. Staff is friendly though But out of all the hotels on that strip this would be the one to avoid. Decor also from looked pre 1994.

Average at best

We stayed for one night due to a function in town, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. At check-in, we were given the wrong access card, and once we finally got into the room, a series of small issues added to our frustration. Although the room was clean, it felt neglected. The carpets were old and faded, the furniture was outdated, and the bathroom was in need of a makeover. Basic amenities were lacking—there was no two-point plug or adapter, only one coffee cup for two guests, and the advertised mini-bar was empty. While we didn’t expect five-star luxury, the room fell short of expectations, and we didn’t feel it was worth the price.

L'hôtel est vétuste, les travaux en cours sont plutôt des réparations, des cables électriques réparés au chaterton, des prises qui court circuitent l'éclairage, la climatisation qui n'envoie que l'air ambiant, pas de chauffage, le personnel est aimable juste ce qu'il faut, nous avons changé 2 fois de chambre (surclassé 2 fois grâce au réceptionniste en soirée très à l'écoute de nous satisfaire) la première fois pas de chauffage, la 2ème, plus d'électricité dans la chambre, le ménage est minimum, ne font pas les poussières, la moquette est vieille et sale, faut réclamer les serviettes, attention en réservant car nous avions pris Breakfast/dinner et au final tout était payant sur place

Personalet i respsjon og frokost lokalet var stortsett hyggelige. 1. Mandag 22. mai var noe uhyggelige folk som jobbet der oppførte seg veldig rart og vi følte oss ikke velkomne til frokost den dagen. 2. Vaskepersonalet byttet aldri søppelposer bare plukket ut noe av søppelet og rester lå igjen som ikke luktet godt dagene etter. Håndklestativ var løs og nye hånklær stadig skle ned i badkaret. De fyllte ikke flere ganger kaffe/te poser, måtte hente det i resepsjonen. 3. Vaskeing tilsvarer IKKE 4stjerners hotel max 2stjerners. 4. Standard på romet er for dårlig vedlikeholdt. 5. Strømutak var løs og virket ikke, så vi fikk så vidt en stor skjøteledning rundt på rommet i hele oppholdet, det så ut som en arbeidsplass, det strømutaket ble aldri ordnet .. m.m

sehr hellhörig, manchmal kein warmes Wasser, oft schlechtes WLAN, unsichere Umgebung. Achtung: Frühstück war nicht inklusive, obwohl Expedia es bei der Buchung angegeben hat!!

Value for money hotel 20 minutes walk from the waterfront. Advertised as a four star but no better than a two star. The room was nowhere near the standard which was advertised on the website. The safe didn’t work and after 2 days of trying to fix it, we were moved to a better standard room on the 11th floor. No bar in the hotel. The website said free breakfast was included but this it not the case so be warned that breakfast will cost £7 per day in the hotel.

The hotel is not 4* more like 2*. On Expedia when booking it said free breakfast, hotel said not free. The hotel should be closed to review wiring - the place is unsafe - tv and kettle wired into one plug. Worst of all there was a fire and it turned out to be in room 801; we were in 802. Couldn't hear fire alarm, only a faint sound which sounded like a car alarm in the distance. Got out of bed and realised I could smell smoke. Looked out of peep hole and could see smoke in corridor. We got out of room, no sign of a fire escape, saw staff members with fire extinguishers in corridor. It was the very old wall mounted air con unit in 801 which started the fire. I believe we were very lucky, if the fire had spread nearer to the door, I'm not sure we would have been able to get out. Anyway fortunately we were near to the main staircase and we got out to the front of the building. There was no-one telling us what to do, no-one saying where to gather, people going in and out of reception, people using the lifts, some people on balconies not bothering to come down and hotel staff still sitting behind reception. When it was over, we couldn't go back to our room because of the smoke and soot so were moved to another room. Managed to get to sleep and about two hours later we heard a faint alarm again; my friend went down to reception to be told they thought there was a technical problem so they'd switched the system off. Shut it down until electrics are safe and a proper fire procedure

Recommended

Very good ratio quality-price. The staff il was extrémale polite although one of the servants’ managers intruded into my room without knocking on the door to check wether the cleaning was done. An awkward situation. The room though was spacious but the shower system statice. A very comfy bed and a balcony. The breakfast was too expensive. Perfect for working travellers.

It wasn't clean ,aircon leaking on the carpet. Needs total reform. Shouldn't be a five star hotel. The people who work there were pleasant.
