Comfort in a wonderful natural setting

Welcoming and comfortable with everything you require. Well designed and laid out room. Worth going for a walk up the hill at the back of the property, great views and birdlife. Beautiful natural setting for a rejuvenating rest.

This apartment complex is definitely worth a visit. It has everything you could ever wish for, stunning interior design and exterior is beautiful. The management team and the staff are both friendly and helpful and will do absolutely anything to make your stay at this gem in the beautiful country

There are no words in the English language to describe the magnificence of Vrede Luxury Apartments. Every little detail is done to perfection, to include a welcome hot face towel ( like in first class ) on an airline. The view is to die for and the friendliest of people on site, I have ever met in my 45 years of global travel. I don't really want to praise this little piece of heaven much more, because I want it all to myself. Maggie and Charles are the finest people whom I have encountered in the hospitality industry ( EVER.)

Simple: Exquisite in all respects. Period.

We made this reservation knowing we would be coming in from an exceptionally arduous sequence of flights. So we would be exhausted (that’s understating it). At the same time we didn’t want to stay in the bustle of Cape Town since it takes a couple days for us to adjust to driving on the left. Basically we wanted a place that was comfortable and a minor challenge to get to via a self-drive car. We absolutely could not have selected a better place than this. The flat is luxurious, sparkling clean and has a very modern kitchen. But that was just the start. The view, out over the unit’s pool, is utterly spectacular. Over the decades we’ve traveled all over South Africa and this view is genuinely one of the best we’ve ever had. During the day we could see False Bay and at night the lights of Somerset West twinkled under a canopy of stars with the planet Venus hovering brightly over the landscape. Really, it’s hard to conceive of a better entry into the Cape Region. Even the hostess was immediately attentive when required, and nowhere to be seen when not needed. Spectacular.

Maggie and the team at Vrede are brilliant. The Vrede apartments are the perfect base to explorer the area and a really beautiful home from home. The quality and value offered by the accommodation is top class. The new walk in shower is a great addition. The location high on the hill on the Boskloof Eco reserve gives panoramic vistas across Somerset West to False Bay and the most incredible sunsets. The gentle drive through the reserve is the perfect start and end to every adventure. A special mention to the lovely security staff on the gate, their big smiles always welcoming. This was our second stay at Vrede and we know we will be back!!

Great view and very comfortable

Very impressed with what we got at the low price we paid for the room. We were there for 2 nights and everything was perfect. Were doing a Garden Route trip for a week and this was the best place of the entire trip.

Hidden gem

If you want tranquility with all the amenities and a view to die for, this is for you. The ad says Luxury Accommodation and proved to be just that. The staff are super friendly and are there if you need them, but hardly ever seen. A perfect self catering unit with nothing left to wish for. Wish I could have stayed longer, but this address will remain in my address book for future use.
