"What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all. "Easy check in. Spa bath in the flat didn't work unfortunately."

"The location is good, next to the club which has good food. But, power points didn't work, lights did and thankfully so did the air conditioner. But no power otherwise, and reception closed. Bathroom door didn't close, shower head had as much water coming out of the joints as the head. I've stayed here for work many times over the years, but it's just looking and feeling a bit tired."

"The area was nice and quiet with just the sounds of the birds and the wind in the trees. Amenities were good. Bedrooms were really small and the cabin was a bit dated particularly the bathroom which also was very small. Bed was a bit hard for my liking, but sheets were clean and crisp."
