Property is nice, room too small for the price. No coffee maker in the room, for oalmost US$250 at least tea and coffee in the room.

A good stay, with a reasonable room. The hotel is let down by their restaurant which was over priced and the food was not very good. The service in the restaurant was rushed as though they wanted my table, which I dislike.

It was wonderful to be right in the Medieval Citadel for the night. MIchelin starred restaurants are nearby. And the local patisserie is the best we had on our whole trip. Room was clean and very conveniently located.

a wonderful hotel in the most perfect location for discovering Carcassone - right at the heart of the medieval Cite. All of this hotel's rooms and facilities were very high quality. The gardens were extraordinarily beautiful. i cannot recommend highly enough.

Really nice and cozy hotel with one thing: there was a problem with the way the windows were fitted, so even when they were closed and locked there was still a slight draft and it was a little cold at night.

This is a lovely hotel in the absolute perfect location. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were superb - friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. I can't say enough good things about this place.

The hotel is wonderfully located and extraordinarily relaxing. Three nights in April was a bucket-list experience —plenty of time to explore the walled city, inside and out, and to enjoy the local cuisine. Bring your walking shoes and memory cards for all of your photos!

Smack dab in the middle of what you want from Carcassonne. Lovely place, lovely courtyard, lovely staff with excellent English. I recommend it.

Hotel maravilhoso. A cama mais confortável de toda viagem. Nos atenderam muito bem e possibilitaram a entrada antecipada após uma viagem noturna cansativa. Está no coração da cidadela. Aconselho a todos.

Comfort in the "heart".
The hotel and staff are wonderful. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was a good value in my opinion. The parking for the hotel is simple and easy to get to...just do not follow Google maps to hotel, rely on the information the hotel gives you! I have a specific complaint regarding our room, #28, this room is directly above the restaurant/breakfast room and we were distracted by the late night noise from the service taking place the night before and a bit distressed by the wafting smell of burnt toast in the morning. Also, there are no electrical outlets near the bed on either side, the front desk was able to lend us an extension cord for the devices we needed to use bedside. The view from the room was great and the bed comfortable and room large.

Wonderful hotel
Wonderful location in the middle of the city. Parking is tricky so be sure to call ahead to figure out parking. We ate dinner at the restaurant at the hotel, excellent food and service.

Great location, needs some renovation.
The location of this hotel is perfect. The lobby is lovely; however, the rooms need some renovation, specifically the bathroom. The grout between the shower tiles is stained, giving it an unclean look. The shower door is rusty.

Hotel le Donjon - recommended if stating in Cite
Excellent choice for the centre of the Medieval City. Lots of interesting, quirky features and a delightful courtyard garden out the back. Breakfast a little pricey but plenty of choice.

L’hôtel est situé à merveille pour vivre pleinement l’expérience de la cité de Carcassonne. Le petit déjeuner est très complet, le lit très confortable. La salle de bain a besoin d’un peu de rénovation pour être à la hauteur du site. Mais c’est propre.
