The property is unique and the view from the roof is spectacular. I place to relax and be mindful. Rooms are beautiful and don’t feel like a hotel, but a bedroom at home. Breakfast could be better, but then again, there are places nearby to go to and have breakfast.

It's a beautiful and quiet inn that is very close to downtown Cardiff by the Sea for restaurants, shoppng, etc. The view from our room of the ocean was nice. The room was very large and well appointed with a very compfortable bed . Bath was large had a great shower. The fresh juices and muffins in the morning were delivered to our door and were delicious. We hope to go back!

This place was great. Right across from the beach with a great rooftop. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. The staff was so helpful and I loved this little breakfast tray they bring you in the morning.

Location is the best in Cardiff/Encinitas! Walking distance to the beach, shops, groceries, coffee, etc. Local muffins, juice & yogurt brought to your room for breakfast. Polite & friendly staff, and the rooftop deck is a great place to start & end the day.

I was very pleased with the attention i received from the front desk upon my arrival. I was really pleased with them keeping an item that was left behind had more sentimental value than the actual monetary value and i was able to pick it up days after. This place is quaint and well located. I enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful property! I would most definitely recommend staying here. Not but 30 minute drive to San Diego. Literally across the street from the beach. I LOVED IT. I will be return.

The property is nowhere near as nice as the pictures; it’s quite noisy and right next to a bar; location is close to beach so that’s nice, just wasn’t loving the room and the view (a tacky neon sign) and noise until 4am so we couldn’t sleep well.. as a family won’t be back. Probably more suited to a young group of people just looking for a place to crash after partying..

What a gem of a spot in Cardiff-by-the-Sea! We loved the suite with the ocean views. The rooftop is a great hangout and work space. Bonus is the walkability to the beach, nearby Seaside Market, and the Coastal Rail Trail. We will be back!

We had a lovely stay at Cardiff by the Sea for my birthday staycation. The property is very quaint but the rooms are rather large and spacious. We treated ourselves to a partial ocean view and fireplace which was fabulous. The staff is also very kind and helpful and they offer complimentary wine upon check-in and continental breakfast in the morning! Lastly, the location is simply ideal as you can easily walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach within 5 to 10 minutes. Highly recommend!
