"This is a wonderful gem! The old character was just what I hoped for and more! The grounds were relaxing, especially the orchard. The history book in the room was fun to read. Home cooked breakfast was top notch and the hosts were extremely kind and helpful. We felt welcomed and at home, I’ll definitely be back if I’m in Bayeux again!"

"The place is very basic and comfortable. The room was very clean. We weren't able to adjust the temperature in the room which we would have liked. We did all at the desk but it's possible that language differences made our request useless. It's a great base for Normandy sightseeing."

"Breakfast was fresh foods including homemade jams, fruits from garden, local cheeses and breads and eggs from the farm. Comfortable beds, quiet property, conveniently located near WW2 museums and historical sites. Paul is an amazing host. We would definitely stay here again."

"Classic chateau property just outside Bayeux! Taxi was quick but necessary. Pool & spa special, as well as, the property grounds. Restaurant 1790 was Michelin Star level & wouldn’t be surprised if they receive one star in the future."

"Hotel is in a good location close to the market square and a number of bars and restaurants. The hotel is a simple unpretentious establishment and represents fair value for money. There is free public parking outside the hotel."

"Host was very accommodating. Location is well off the beach, but a good launch location for anyone touring the area. This area is however slow, lacking some amenities ( ride share apps) - out of season ( which should be expected)😁."

"I would have liked to know that the safes in the rooms were not in working order. That was frustrating. The only other complaint was the lack of electrical outlets in the room. Other than that, the hotel, staff, grounds, and staff were lovely. "

Jeden Tag wurde mit bedacht und Hingabe uns alles von den Lippen abgelesen und mit liebe agiert damit dieser Aufenthalt traumhaft war. "A truly wonderful hotel, in walking distance of the centre of Arromanches. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room and hotel amenities were all well presented. The swimming pool is lovely, as in the garden setting area. Breakfast was a beautiful cold selection of local and home made products, as well as hot scrambled eggs and bacon. We would definitely visit again."
