"We left the train station in Lucca, put in the address of La Luna and had a wonderful short walk, less than a mile into the town of Lucca and to the Hotel La Luna. We were greeted by hotel staff who quickly got us into our rooms, two couples-two rooms. The rooms were nice and would be considered average. "The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were vety comfortable. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only regret was not being able to stay another night as we were traveling to Assisi the next day. The locat to Lucca was also perfect and tge drive into the walled city was less than two minutes. I can't say enough great things about our hostess and her mom. They we absolutely sweet and wonderful people. The next time, I will use La Chiuso Delle Monache...

"Super clean and tidy. The external bathroom is private to your room only (not shared with other guests) and is large and well equipped. There's a fabulous coffee machine in the shared kitchen that makes excellent espresso, cappincinos etc. The included breakfast has lots of options to choose from and quite good. Short walk to get into the old walled city."
