"We enjoyed our stay at Tradewinds Carmel but be aware that there is very little soundproofing on the first floor rooms and earplugs are a must! The upstairs occupant thudded about most of the night and voices are clearly audible. Continental breakfast was a nice touch delivered in a basket and left outside the door at the requested time and parking was easy and on site."
"The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were great! Very quiet place, only a block from the beach. They are 10 blocks from the center of Carmel, but they have a van that is very handy in dropping you off or picking you up. All their restaurant recommendations were excellent. They also were very helpful in suggesting hiking spots and times where there were fewer people. Overall, we will be back and stay here."
