"The cottage itself was cute and if properly cleaned and maintained it would have been wonderful. The floor/tiles in one bathroom were loose, in the other bathroom the floor felt "squishy" and there were multiple broken/cracked shelves in the shower. Two of the burners on the stove did not work and when using the stove/oven there was smoke. The window when opened to alleviate the smoke would not stay open. This property allows pets and unfortunately their cleaning and repairs do not keep up with...

"This property is very clean and perfect for a family getaway to the mountains. I give this property 5-Stars because it was tremendous value and met trip needs perfectly. The house is close to Cherokee and to several white-water rafting companies on the Nantahala River. One thing to note: be prepared to be unplugged. I loved it, but it took a minute for my wife and kids to accept that there is no internet or ATT cell service. No emails, no phone calls, no texts. Perfect for me, but maybe not...

"Rented for my son's graduation and was able to easily sleep 8 and host a graduation bbq with others. Fantastic memory and a great environment to connect with a larger group in a family setting. Owners were great and very helpful all around so that I could host a great weekend."

"This house needs to be looked at by a home inspector. Their is an obvious odor in the living room of mildew or mold, the floors are severely warped with soft spots, and there are light switches (ex: vanity lights in master bathroom) that are not operational. We were left with one towel per bed, for a 5 day stay, only one extra roll of toilet paper, one extra trash bag, only 4 laundry pods, and the creamer at the coffee station was curdled. "They were not joking when they said 4wheel drive is recommended LOL just be prepared for a steep gravel driveway....other than a slight issue with evolve (the ones who worked on the reservation) it was an absolutely perfect trip for my pups, my son and myself. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice getaway place to relax. "
