Our stay at the Studio 6 Suites was very pleasant. The hotel was modern and the room was nice. The floors could have been a bit cleaner, but most motels are like that. Staff was very friendly, and there was plenty of parking.

Great stay!

We were pleasantly surprised ! Would stay again - quiet , clean , easy to find , lots of free parking ! We did the suites so a little more room and storage - full size fridge was awesome !!!!! Location feels safe and the town is charming! We wanted to get away from the chaos of July 4 and this was the perfect answer!

The motel and our room were clean. The premises looked freshly painted. Our double bed room was fairly comfortable with a large bathroom and almost full size fridge. It was a little on the small side though. The second floor rooms are hard to get to due to the few stairs. It was not the nicest place but clean and a decent value, close to the beach and shopping.

Clean and safe area. Room was immaculate. Property seems well taken care of. Only complaint is the fan in the bathroom. Didn’t really do anything to keep the bathroom clear. Mirrors fogged up, counters damp and floor damp. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.

The floor is wet and smells in the bathroom area, when the next door turned on the water to wash or shower, it made a lot of noise. The bed is uncomfortable with smells. Don’t think it’s cheap! We paid $227 for a night! Never this hotel again!!

Great location near the beach and close to shopping center with many conveniences. Very clean and very safe. I traveled with my dog and they had many grassy and dirt areas with trash cans for his potty needs. Staff very friendly.

Booking through a well known 3rd party and I was not initially found as a guest. Could be humna error, which I know happens but there should be some streamlining. I was taken care of, with respect and manners, so no complaints. Offer of coffee and tea in the AM was given. Room is clean, well lit. The room fridge size was big but I like it.

There was a group of people drinking beer, smoking weed and cigarettes below our room. Loud until late into the night. Room was not as advertised. Remodeled and lacking cabinets and doors and shelves - one large cube-like cabinet could have shelves put in. If that was the suite, I don't know how the regular rooms would differ? We left after one night and will be requesting a refund for the 2nd night. A shame for other families with kids running around the next morning trying to have a wholesome family stay.

The beds and room were a bit smaller than I expected, but the room was clean. The room smelled like it had formally been a smokers room. Since I don't smoke, that was annoying. Staff was nice and helpful.

Overall the motel is very cute ! The rooms have excellent amenities including: fridge, microwave, coffee maker, extra towels, air conditioning and heat, cable and wifi. The Wi-Fi was very slow so if you will be needing good internet connection then I would suggest you keep this in mind when booking at this motel. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The room was lacking as far as cleanliness however. We found someone’s sock underneath the bed. Besides that everything was fine and the motel was very quiet. Minus the random sock I’d say it was actually pretty comfortable stay for a motel 6.

We’ll Be Back

This was a last minute booking as we wanted to get out of the 100°+ heat in our town. Great price for a good room with a full size fridge and a little table with chairs. Carpinteria is such a fun little beach town and it was a great walk with our pup into the center of town. Luz greeted us warmly even though she had to be overwhelmed with the 4th of July weekend bookings! The door to an adjoining room wasn’t fully soundproof but it wasn’t terrible. Just wish the neighbor had turned off his 6am alarm a little more quickly. Overall…a nice experience that we will definitely do again!
Spent the day at the dog-friendly end of the beach!
