"First, the bathrooms are the checkin area weren’t working. Second, we had booked two queen beds but apprarently they only have “two double beds”. Third, they took over 20 minutes at the counter to check us in. Very dry staff."

"The room was fine. I didn’t really take advantage of the free breakfast until the last day. It looked like a good spread. I mainly used the hotel as a base for four days in Yosemite. It was still almost two hours out so made for long days."

"Expedia shows Sonora inn on the photos and I though that was where I booked my stay. When I arrived I realized that my hotel was not the one in the photo, the staff said the two hotels are owned by the same people. The difference in approach was stark and unexpected. I decided to stay at the Lumberjack since the rooms were renovated. The rooms were nice but had a bad odor, we had to buy incense to stay in it. The soap dispenser didn’t work, but other than that is was fine"

"Room was clean air conditioner worked very well mini golf across the street was great lots of restaurants near by the rock has great food Pinecrest lake a short drive also went to casino black oak short drive great area we will be back"

"The room floors were dirty as my kids feet got filthy walking on them tobthe pijntbi washed them before getting in bed. The rest of the room seemed clean. The breakfast was awful. Cold rubbery pancakes and cold eggs. Cereal was the only thing edible."

"The motel served us well for an overnight stay for a fishing trip. The room was clean and had all the amenities expected in a good motel. There never was anybody at the reception desk but when we called the provided number somebody answer our questions or showed up at the desk at a reasonable time. Altogether it was a good experience."

"The room was lovely and quiet. The staff very helpful. But there was some junk and garbage and debris and old bicycles and broken things land about the back of the property that just looked junkie."

"We stayed for a few days and a family of five it accommodated all of us with beds and space. It was a wonderful stay,the staff was helpful to let us know places and things to do as well as getting extra towels or anything. The area is beautiful too! Definitely a must stay spot if you need a place to stay in the area! Oh and the fact it’s 5 mins from the Calaveras redwoods was awesome!"
