El hotel es espectacular y el personal es muy servicial. El único detalle es que tuvieron un descuido al hacer la limpieza de la habitación y perdieron mi camisón de dormir. Deberían revisar bien la ropa de cama antes de llevarla a la lavandería.

I was pleasantly surprised! I did not have high expectations thinking it was just a bed & breakfast type of place which I usually don’t like. This turned out to be a slice of paradise. Everything was top notch! I will definitely stay again and again. Serene, gorgeous, decor amazing high quality, staff were very sweet. Food was delish. We have dinner one night and it was excellent.

Charming, discrete hotel with chill vibes
I had a great stay. This hotel is super central but located down a quieter side street which is perfect, especially on the weekend. The staff is lovely and the arepas for breakfast each morning with homemade hot sauce and fresh squeezed fruit juice hit the spot.

Este hotel y sus habitaciones son muy lindos, llenos de detalles que te hacen sentir muy cómodo y bien recibido. El personal es excelente, son todos muy amables; en especial Esthefany y Nairo nos atendieron con mucho esmero en cualquier aspecto que les solicitamos. La limpieza, la ubicación del hotel, sus instalaciones y todo su personal fueron excelentes. Definitivamente esta estancia fue parte muy importante para valorar nuestro viaje a Cartagena como una experiencia muy grata.

Beautifully appointed property with 5-star service. The staff, Nairo, Nelson, Edwin, & Stefanie were absolutely wonderful and were so helpful during our first time in Cartagena. The Spanish Colonial home was the highlight of our trip and a great way to always start and end our day. The dining suggestions from the staff were superb.

Terrific Boutique Hotel with Memorable Stay
This is a boutique hotel in a great location in the old town of Cartagena. Hotel is new, in great condition, with a terrific staff. Only downside was while still in recovery from the pandemic, the restaurant and room service had limited hours. The complimentary breakfast was terrific.We look forward to being a future guest.

Excellent Accommodation
Casa Don Sancho was beautiful, calm, and overall enhanced our stay in Cartegena. The room was clean and the AC was strong. The shower had great pressure. The food is great (I recommend the pina colada - it’s fresh, delicious, and HUGE!). The staff is friendly, respectful, recommended places to eat, and called us a cab when we headed out to the airport. The plants in the courtyard are lucious and only add to the magic of this stay. The pool in the courtyard was clean and the jacuzzi on the roof was clean and had great views of the city and even a view of the ocean. The location is on a quiet street near near the theatre and you’re steps away from the city walls. We easily walked around the old town from here. If you’re beat from the sun or walking around, I’d recommend the food here or walking over to the Epoca Espresso Bar - the La Artilleria location, because it’s less crowded, prettier inside, great coffee, brunch, and snacks, and like a 7 min walk away.

Couldn't ask for a better stay
We had the most incredible stay at Hotel Casa Don Sancho. The property is stunning and tranquil, and the staff go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable and accommodated. We spent a lot of time wandering around the property, appreciating the Colonial-style decor and thoughtful details. My partner and I especially appreciated help with planning a day trip to the Islands and recommendations for places to eat in the area. We also loved the Hotel's breakfast, our insanely comfortable room, and the beautiful sunset view from the rooftop. Though it was just the two of us on this trip, I'd love to plan a future trip with a group that could rent out the entire Casa (which only has six or so rooms) for a special occasion in Cartagena.

Casa Don Sancho is a beautiful luxury Boutique Hotel, forniture are beutiful. Breackfast and lunch good. Really well located in the centre of Old Cartagena. Staff is absolutely helpfull and suggest excelent excursions and really good restaurants. I reccomend Casa Don Sancho to all travelers in particular for couples.

Exceptional Boutique Hotel
This hotel is truly exceptional. We have stayed in hotels in many different countries and have never had such memorable experience anywhere. The hotel is very attractive, designed with every detail in mind. The location is excellent, close to everything in the historical center of Cartagena. Everything is kept meticulously clean. What really puts this hotel above and beyond other hotels is the wonderful staff, always ready to help and concerned of all your needs. The quality of the food served in the hotel restaurant is superb. We had three delicious dinners in the hotel and we can highly recommend it. We felt very pampered staying at Don Sancho Mustique and hope to be able to come back soon.

Hermosa casona en el corazón de Cartagena
El hotel es una casona preciosa adecuada para un Hotel Boutique, esta en pleno corazón de la Ciudad amurallada de Cartagena, y a unos cuantos pasos de todo, por lo que es muy amigable recorrerlo a pie. Stijlvol hotel rustig gelegen in oude stad
Hotel is prachtig ingericht, locatie is geweldig, rustig en dichtbij het oude centrum, de kathedraal evenals de klokketoren om de hoek, en ook leuke restaurants en koffie en cocktail barretjes op loopafstand. Getsemani vonden wij niet bijzonder, de hop/off bus vonden wij handig, en even lekker zitten, om een goed beeld van de stad te krijgen. Het is werkelijk een bijzondere stad, veel historie, prachtige gebouwen, ook veel toeristen en straatverkopers, erg druk, zeker ook ‘savonds. Heerlijk ceviche gegeten en pisco sour gedronken. Wij zijn 3 dagen geweest, was ruim voldoende.

Absolutely a fantastic place to stay! Beautiful facilities and the staff is truly phenomenal. I've never dealt with better overall service than at Casa Don Sancho!

Wonderfulmother - daughter trip. Staff was lovely and accommodating. Unique beautiful space. Very safe. Left doors wide open every night to sleep in fresh air. Location close to everything in old city.
