"The design and pictures of the hotel are nice. Our room was not the cleanest. Crumbs all over the floor. Weird stains and gunk on the walls. Our room smelled like mildew. Very musty. We kept having to spray perfume to get rid of the smell. We did not have time to switch rooms otherwise we would have. "

"I do not normally leave reviews, but I felt I needed to for this stay. I usually rely heavily on customer ratings when booking hotels, and I almost always choose places rated 8 or above. That system has never failed me until this booking. Unfortunately, this property was very poorly maintained. The AC unit in the bedroom was so loud it sounded like a lawn mower, and the bathroom plumbing made loud noises for about two minutes every time the toilet was flushed. The patio area shown in the pictures may look nice online, but it is not being kept up, and I would not expect to be able to enjoy the water area. On top of that, the outside doors from the pool area had no exterior handles, making them impossible to open from that side. The overall condition of the facility was extremely poor. Every time we went to the front desk, there was no one available and no bell to ring, so we had to call out for someone to come from the back. Inside the suite, doors would not close properly, and the place felt like it was in disrepair. We even found a hair on one of the towels. While that can happen anywhere, combined with the overall lack of upkeep throughout the property, it made the experience even more disappointing. Overall, this stay did not match the rating or the expectations set by the listing photos."

"Overall, it was a nice hotel. But, teh toilet did not have a cover. It was reported to the front desk, but they did not get it fixed in our 2 night stay. Also, there was a randam black sock that was left in our room by roomservice. It was not for us. that was strange. Service could have been more responsive."
