"The apartment was nice. The building was nice, and the staff was very nice. The free laundry was wonderful. My only complaint is that I was turned away with a small group of 3 friends that were going to rest during the carnival for an hour or so. I was told that I was not allowed to have ANY guests in the apartment. This policy was not explicitly stated in the listing and it came as kind of a surprise and a disappointment. "

"The very first contact was so rude saying that in Brazil i should only speak Portuguese ! The receptionist was sleeping in the same room and at the point at 11 in the morning i got a phone call. And he strated to insult me and hit the walls !!! Incredible !!! "

The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, the staff goes way and beyond to be helpful, the breakfast buffet is so diversified and delicious, and location could not be better. "Overall it seems like the minimum amount of effort goes into operating this apartment. Even though check in is supposed be 3pm, I arrived after 5pm and had to wait 30 minutes for the cleaning to be finished. I agree with the past comment about dirty grout in the shower. Also, the dish sponge was dirty and even though there was a coffee machine, there were no coffee pods. The 24 hour automated mart was really convenient for snack/drink purchases."
