The scheduled check-in time was 3:00 PM; however, none of the three rooms I booked were available until approximately 4:00 PM. During our stay, the hotel was fully occupied due to the Africa Cup 2025–26. Only two of the three elevators were operational, as one elevator was out of service. The middle elevator functioned inconsistently, repeatedly moving up and down without stopping on the 9th floor, where our rooms were located. The elevators are quite small and can comfortably accommodate only two passengers with luggage at a time. On the second day, water was observed leaking from the ceiling of this same elevator.
The rooms were small and each contained only one bed. Prior to arrival, I contacted the hotel to confirm whether the rooms would have two beds but did not receive a response. In addition, one of the rooms was uncomfortably warm, and the temperature could not be adjusted. During the stay, key cards for three rooms were randomly deactivated, requiring visits to the front desk for reactivation. Communication was sometimes challenging, as English does not appear to be a strong area for some staff members. If you speak French or Arabic, you should be okay.
The restaurant food was average, the bar was acceptable, and the hotel’s location is excellent. Overall, the main issue appears to be communication, which could likely be improved through additional staff training.
