Spectacular hotel and spa. Magnificent grounds and facilities. This is a 5-star hotel that deserves its rating. Breakfasts were spectacular. The room was so quiet—no sounds at all.

Unbelievable service and dining. The fancy restaurant was closed for some updates but the other restaurant was unbelievably! The made something not even on the menu. The even made us a pizza and the waitress brought to the room. Spa was excellent. We were very happy! A 1st class Hotel.

You can do better.

This Resort/Spa Hotel was lovely, clean, comfortable, in a beautiful and quiet setting/location. The room was lovely! BUT sadly, the staff was so unwelcoming, so unaccommodating and just plain awkward, seeming pretentious and weird, which was very different from our experience in Rome & Sorrento. Not sure if it was the region, or just poor hirings. You could have cut the tension amongst the staff with a knife! Honestly, I would not recommend this stay. You can do better! The nicest people on staff were the bar tender in training, Christopher & the cleaning lady with the very short dark hair, who really just greeted us with a smile & replenished our toiletries. But it was her pleasant personality that stuck with us, as was with Christopher. They were both so sweet, genuine, professional, kind, engaging and an attribute to your establishment. My advice,... WELCOME your guest with a smile! LIGHTEN UP! People are there on vacation! Maybe some soft music in the lobby just to warm things up a bit. And get more staff like the bar tender in training and the room service cleaner, whose name we fail to remember. People have different reasons to stay at your hotel. Not all are there to use the spa. But all should be welcome! We stayed there 4 nights to see Tuscany and chose this stay as it was more in line with our expectations and what we are used to, but again the overall feel was starchy and awkward. WARM IT UP!

Charming & beautiful hotel & spa

Amazing location, well maintained, staff is amazing. Rich &yummy breakfast and amazing warm pool. Spa was unique and one of the best I’ve been to. Traveled with a baby and the did above and beyond to accommodate us ❤️ Restaurant was ok (pagoda), a bit pricey and we had better meals outside the hotel.

Best property from top to bottom. Staff are very professional and helpful. Lobby was great gym, spa were amazing they even accommodated us for opening the gym later upon our request to workout late. You get treated like royalty there. Reception staff were amazing and helpful, spa staff were amazing, breakfast staff are so nice and the service was top notch!!! They received our package that we ordered to be delivered to the hotel two weeks before our arrival, and they kept it for us till we arrived, they even put it in our room before we checked in. We now consider going there every year as a great retreat

An amazing stay…

We love this hotel and will keep returning. The grounds are extensive and lovely; the hotel itself is beautifully furnished and very comfortable with spacious communal areas. The rooms are also excellent and the food at breakfast and dinner is delicious. However, the highlight for us is always the wonderful staff who go out of their way to be charming, helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble here and we would recommend it very highly to anyone looking for an amazing stay in a beautiful location.

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful property and a perfect option for visiting Civita di Bagnoregio a short drive away. Restaurant/breakfast were great, food and service top level. Bar area also beautiful. Only slight disappointment for this level of hotel was there was no one to help with luggage on arrival and the car parking (although very plentiful) is a long walk from the room. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Amazing property and exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was incredible, the property way, way nicer than the pictures AND the staff was THE nicest ever, especially the restaurant staff. Both restaurants were so good that we would certainly come eat there even if we weren’t staying on the property. The wine list was spectacular and the staff even set up a winery visit for one of the vintage is on the list and that was the highlight of our trip. For the money, this resort cannot be beat

La Chiaracia + Orvieto + Lake Bolsena = great trip

Oustanding property. Large, comfortable and sparkling clean rooms. Great breakfast (but as a 5 star hotel, prosecco/sparkling wine should be offered). Close to Orvieto (perhaps the most beautiful medieval city I have ever been to) and Lago Bolsena (which lets anybody speecheless, what a fantastic lake, celar and warm water!) Just a few suggestions: - duvets on beds regardless of the season - extend SPA hours (7pm is too early) - include prosecco in breakfast - 1 more bike + 1 treadmill (gym) Can´t wait to be back!

Kind of in the middle of nowhere but only a half hour from Orvieto. We were pleasantly surprised. My husband liked it best between our stay in a small hotel in Radda, this hotel, and the Hassler in Rome.
