I really liked the premium feel to the apartments and was well taken care of in communication with their staff when I had questions during and the option to leave my. "The Dunvegan Hotel is fabulous! We loved our time there. The location is perfect, close to the courses, shops, beaches and St Andrews. The people and staff are amazing, so helpful, and so fun. "The room was nice other than being on the 3rd floor with no elevator and two twin beds instead of a king. The check in is different, you go to the pub next door and they check you in and the young man carried our bags up and down the stairs. The area is perfect and the pub is a great place to hangout after a round. "

The welcome included a brief tour of David’s home and interesting information about the previous owners. This was in addition to being shown our own accommodation which was spacious and comfortable.

"Of the 4 hotels I stayed in in Scotland, this was the best. A short drive outside of St Andrews with rates a fraction of the cost of hotels in town. Parking on site was easy. On site restaurant was excellent. The fish and chips was the best I had in the country. Staff was amazing. Rooms were in excellent condition. Property was unique and looked like a small village. "
