"A very warm welcome from the staff who were attentive throughout my short stay. A good breakfast in the pleasant period atmosphere of the traditional dining room. For a 3 star hotel the rooms were well appointed - each with its own coffee pod machine. Wonderful sea views from many of the rooms."

"Cheap but very grim. Owners haven’t spent a penny on it forever. Nothing finished even the fitting of the floors or removing old furniture. I don’t mind cheap and I don’t mind rustic, but strikes me of money for nothing. "

"Lovely bright room with a really comfy bed and thoughtful touches throughout, including spare towels for the hot tub. Easy check-in online and contactless access to our room, although friendly staff were available if needed. The hot tub was nice and hot for when we arrived which was perfect after a long hike. "5 stars is too much for this hotel. Double bed is in fact suitable only for one short person! Photos are not like the reality there. No shelf in the bathroom to even put your wash bag. Nothing is practical. And breakfast was the worst part. They gave me white toast saying this is sourdough. Staff are not nice (except one person at front desk). Things were constantly not working. Also no parking for 5 star hotel! It’s def a 3 star hotel"
