"This is the second time that we’ve stayed at this hotel while biking on the Silver Comet/Chief Ladiga Trail. They’ve gone through some upgrades since our last stay. We had been riding for 4 1/2 hours in the nonstop pouring rain. I wiped out on a hairpin curve on the trail a mile and a half from the hotel. I arrived to check in dripping blood and muddy water on the floor, visibly shaken. The lovely young lady behind the counter immediately rushed to give me a towel and assured me that it was no problem that I was making a mess of her floor. She even provided me with Band-Aids for my injuries. Hot coffee was available in the lobby. There was no issue with us bringing our bikes into the room for the night. Rooms were spotless and ours even had a huge Jacuzzi tub! That was a wonderful surprise! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is biking on the trail."
